Dr. Venkataseshan Sundaram obtained his MD degree in Pediatrics followed by his Doctorate in Medicine (DM) degree in Neonatology from Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research. He currently works as a Faculty in the Department of Pediatrics, PGIMER, Chandigarh. His primary area of interest is neonatal severe sepsis and he is currently involved in discovering the molecular level mechanisms that are associated with progression of sepsis to severe sepsis.

Krishna L is currently pursuing her M.Sc. Integrated degree in the Institute of Bioinformatics and Biotechnology, University of Pune. She has completed a project based on suppression of HBV by a vector based approach as a part of her academic curriculum. She wishes to pursue research in infectious diseases.

Priya Krithivasan obtained her M.Sc. degree in Bioinformatics from the University of Edinburgh, United Kingdom. She is currently working for Ganit Labs at Strand Life Sciences, Bangalore. Her research involves NGS and proteomics data analysis in cancers.

Priyanka Sharma obtained her M. Tech. degree in Information technology (Bioinformatics) from Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad (IIITA). Currently, she is pursuing her Ph. D. degree in Biotechnology under the guidance of Dr. Rinu Sharma in the Cancer Research Lab of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Dwarka, Delhi. Her work involves studying expression of miRNAs in esophageal cancer to determine potential minimally invasive/non-invasive diagnostic marker.

Shivam Singh obtained her M.Sc. degree in Zoology from Hans Raj College, University of Delhi. She is pursuing her Ph.D. in cancer biology under the guidance of Dr. Rinu Sharma at the University School of Biotechnology, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Dwarka, Delhi. Her research work involves functional analysis of immunoregulatory molecules in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma.
