Welcome to workshop on mass spectrometry-based metabolomics

Institute of Bioinformatics (IOB) is a well - established centre for Proteomics, Metabolomics and Computational Biology. The institute's state-of-the-art metabolomics facility is being utilized to explore and study various types of cancers.

Workshop Objectives:

IOB has initiated a series of workshops on metabolomics. We aim to benefit a large number of young investigators, clinicians and research students working in this area with our interactive lecture and hands- on training sessions. We have successfully conducted several workshops in the last six months, including two workshops on metabolomics. Faculty members and students from reputed Research Institutes and Universities across India have benefited from these workshops

As part of this 2-day intensive training, we will introduce the participants to the basics of metabolomics and demonstrate in detail the entire process from sample processing to final data analysis. Participants will get hands-on training at various stages of sample preparation and data acquisition.
